HR Construction Group was ecstatic to have a continued opportunity to work in partnership with AJ Capital Partners and help further grow their Graduate Hotel collection. Graduate Storrs received a complete renovation of the lobby, restaurant/bar area and public restrooms. This University of Connecticut inspired hotel is located right on the campus in Storrs, Connecticut. Its location in town allows guests to easily access popular spots in Storrs, including the stadium for game days.

- Assisted with preconstruction budgeting, scheduling and design criteria
- Demolished dividing wall between the entrance lobby and restaurant/bar area to create an open concept public space
- Installed reclaimed basketball flooring, area rug and a hand painted mural throughout the main lobby
- Installed new light fixtures and furniture
- Renovated the public bathrooms with new plumbing fixtures, decorative lighting, tile floors, and millwork panels
- Built a 5,000 sq ft multipurpose room with a pre-function lobby and exterior patio, complete with faux trusses
- Designed the multi-purpose room to have the ability to be divided into two spaces when the air wall is open
- Put in decorative wallcovering from floor to ceiling and installed new decorative light fixtures
- Built a large drop off area at the front entrance with a 20` high Porte cochere
- Installed a stone paver driveway at hotel entrance
- Performed landscaping throughout the property
- Installed a new signage package, inclusive of road signage
