Hotel Zena, formerly the Donovan Hotel, is a boutique hotel located at the base of 14th Street in Thomas Circle. HR Construction Group worked with Pebblebrook Hotel Trust to renovate the public spaces, lobby, and the rooftop pool and bar areas with a female empowerment design. The hotel opening coincided with the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which granted women the right to vote. Hotel guests will be able to experience comfortable spaces featuring artwork that conveys a message of struggle, empowerment and hope.
